Up for auction is a fully restored 1989 27’ Activator with twin 2004 Mercury Racing 200 ROS Optimax engines. The boat comes with a Venture tandem axle aluminum trailer and a custom cover for the boat. This Activator was redone top to bottom and is painted white with black accent stripes and has a new interior.
Engines are mounted on black powder coated Bob’s Machine jack plates. The interior features side by side high back bucket seats with center mounted throttle and shift controls. Livorsi carbon fiber gauges with black rims and black pointers. Steering is a Latham full side mounted hydraulic system with tie bar. The boat also has mechanical indicators.
For power, the boat features twin Mercury Racing 2.5 Optimax 200XS ROS engines. With 20” midsections, the 200 ROS are known for being light and powerful. Sportmaster gearcases and solid mounts are other features of the Mercury Racing outboards. These engines have been converted to 20” from 15” originally.
Activator Boats enjoyed offshore racing success in the Factory class with the 27’ hull, known for its offshore prowess, speed and ability in rough water. It was made in outboard and sterndrive versions. This is a legendary boat and a very rare example of one in like new condition. The reliable Mercury Racing 200 XS ROS engines make it even more attractive.
Owner reports the boat recently had a few minor touch-ups to make it near perfect and shows 9/10.
Owner has clean title on trailer and boat. Also comes with two sets of custom propellers, a pair of Bravo 1 props and a pair of Hydromotive props.
