Up for auction is a 2002 Checkmate 2100 Pulsare with a 2002 Mercury 225 Optimax. This boat is a freshwater boat with low hours, used seasonally in Ontario Canada. The boat is finished in beautiful all red gelcoat with white and black stripes and a white interior. Equipment includes a 5.5” CMC Power Lift jack plate, dual cable steering and Mercury Marine gauges. For the Pulsare 2100, the red closed deck is a very sought after spec.
The owner bought the boat last year from the second owner and reports the boat is in excellent condition. There are no major blemishes or fading in the gelcoat to report and the interior has minor wear marks from normal use. Seats have minor wear on the top sides of the back seats from being stepped on but no rips or tears anywhere.
Stored inside and only left in the water overnight on a few occasions. Included in the purchase are ropes and paddles. A custom black tonneau cover is also included.
This is a turnkey package, with a single axle EZ Loader trailer. The hull and engine are all original, no modifications or repairs. Owner reports that everything works as it should. After last season the boat was detailed, then shrink wrapped and put in storage where it is now.
Checkmate has been building the Pulsare 2100 since 1994 and it has been one of the brands most sought after models. Fast and very practical for a family performance boat. Finished area under the bow for storage or laying down, side gunnel storage and compartments under the rear seat.
A full windshield, along with seating for 5 and a generous beam make the 2100 very practical. The 225 Mercury Optimax is a great match on this hull. Mercury’s 3.0L Optimax engines are reliable and powerful, this boat can run 74 to 77 MPH, depending on setup. This boat is offered with a low reserve price.
